Beginning my post-op puree
B Bap started a similar thread about 10 down from this one, so you might keep and eye on it as well. I'll post the same info here that I gave her.
I ate my pureed foods with a spoon. I took tiny bites and couldn't eat much before I felt full. You should mix in enough liquid so that after it's pureed/blenderized, it has the consistency of applesauce and slides off a spoon. You can also add protein powder to purees to increase the protein content. The liquids I mixed in were broth, milk, water, ff mayo, ff sour cream, greek yogurt.
egg salad
chicken salad (use canned chicken since it's softer)
tuna salad
greek yogurt
cottage cheese
ricotta cheese
ff refried beans with a little melted cheese on top
sf pudding with protein powder added
sf applesauce with protien powder added
cream soups (the ones higher in protein and lower in carbs) with protein powder added
