Burps

I've been sleeved for 2 full weeks now.  I'm thrilled with my sleeve!  Love, love, love it!!!!

The only thing I'm not totally digging is the burps.  I burp every time I eat something and sometimes when I drink protein shakes.

In your experience, is this something that will happen forever now with my tiny tummy?  Am I maybe eating too fast?

I have a doc appt next week and yes, I will certainly mention it to him.  I was just curious if anyone else experienced this.

it is something that should go away with time. I did it for the first month or so. It still happens now if I eat to fast. It takes time getting used to really chewing your food, and eating slowly.
Good luck.

It got better over time....in the beginning, I was burping all the time, even with little sips of water...now it is not that often anymore, thankfully.

I finally stopped burping yesterday. I will be 2 weeks tomorrow. Burps/coughs/sneezes are still really painful for me so I'm just glad it's over with. Or so I hope. Haven't had a burp all day :)

It definately gets better.  One thing that helped me was I bought a camelback bottle.  Helps keep track of how much water you have drank as well as cuts down on the air you take in while drinking, thereby cutting down on the burping.

Might want to pick one up.  (I suggest getting the neoprene sleeve for it, keeps the sweating down and holds the temperature better)  It helped me alot with the burping as well as keeping track of my intake!

Good Luck!!!

LOL I'm 6 weeks-ish out, and I still burp.

Although, my husband refers to it as "letting the demons out" because they are big manly multi-toned burps lol  I tell him, well its better out my mouth, than out my ass =0)

I burped a lot at first. Now I burp when my tummy gets full. That's usually my sign to stop eating. The same with water. If I am drinking a little too fast, I will burp.
