Any graveyard shift sleevers out there?
I have work night shift for years. I had surgery 3 months ago and while on LOA I was doing great. Now that I am back to work (took 6 weeks off) I am having a hard time. I work in an emergency room and can't just stop what I am doing to get my fluids in. I keep my protein drink or water close by and try to sip as often as possible but still isn't enough. I try and get in 2 protein shakes or 1 protein shake and a meal before work, then another protein shake and meal at work. Then when I get home I am trying to get in the rest of my requirements which as far as fluids doesn't usually happen. Hard when you can't drink fast. I also am losing weight REALLY slow. I had the 3 weeks stall and now I think I am having my 3 month stall.....sheeesh! So.....I Feel your pain!!!!
I work night shift and have a hard time getting in my required water and protein. I bring cheese and nuts with me and when I eat dinner, make sure its mostly if not all protein. I really cant stand the protein drinks so I would rather eat it. I am also getting to where I can drink faster and easier then before. Good luck. Night shift and diets are very hard!
