Pre-Op Diet Phases .... has anyone had any trouble with them??
I was 5 months out at Thanksgiving, and it pretty much sucked! I went outside, kicked rocks, pouted and was pissed off that everyone else was shoveling food down their pieholes while I sat there and ate my 3oz of food. Ya know, Thanksgiving is that one day a year that a fat chick can eat and no one thinks twice about the quantities she's consuming. . . All that wasted energy, being pissed off really proved to be just that WASTED, when I went back inside saw everyone in their stretchy pants, miserable, and needing a nap, I was ready to go go go and had to sit there and listen to them moan over their misery of being "so stuffed".
Cheers to next year, being AT or close to goal, being able to actually ENJOY the food.
And, you can always make Thanksgiving later.

Thank you, I have thought about that! So I wanted to ask my NUT if I could use 100% Pure Pumpkin for a shake or somethin?? I dunno tho??Take out what you are NOT allowed to have at a specific stage, like raw fruit or nuts, but you get to at least have something that is flavorful ! ! ! These are from an old post of mine that is a huge list of protein drink recipes.
This is a wonderfully decadent way to get in your protein! Spicy, creamy and icy-thick.milkshakes never had it so good!
1/4 cup pumpkin puree
1 cup skim milk or soymilk
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (such as Matrix Simply Vanilla)
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (or 1/4 t. cinnamon, 1/8 t. cloves, 1/8 t. ginger)
2 tablespoons Splenda Granular
1/4 cup Cool Whip or NSA Vanilla yogurt
1 cup ice cubes
Place pumpkin, milk, protein powder, spices, Splenda, cool whip or yogurt, and ice cubes in blender container; process until slushy. Makes one meal replacement serving.

BANANA PROTEIN NOG
1 scoop Matrix Simply Vanilla protein powder

Place all ingredients in blender and process until smooth.
Butterscotch Pecan Liquid Pie
2 scoops ProScore 100 vanilla
8 oz cold water
2 T sugar free butterscotch pudding mix
4-5 ice cubes

Blend protein powder, water and pudding mix.

Add ice cubes and blend till ice slivers.
Add pecans and blend again for a few seconds.
Pour into nice huge parfait glass and enjoy.
(about 300 calories).
