Obession with upcoming Surgery

Hi new family, so I have to be honest here, I think I'm totally obessed with my surgery that isn't until December 19th!  Almost all of my free time (which I don't have a lot of) is spent here on the forum looking at pictures of people and reading the threads.  It's getting to the point where I wake up in the middle of the night because I'm dreaming of the surgery. 

Am I the only one one who has felt this way?  If you felt this way, how did you manage to stay sane in your wait time before the surgery?

Any tips? Suggestions?  HELP!

LOL, I am doing the same thing.... My surgery isn't until December 19Th.. I am trying to keep busy and I even moved my computer to another area to stay way from it... You can see how that is working for me. Ha ha....

LOL I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one. I leave my office computer and then I sit down at my ipad and here I am replying to your post. grrr we are going to have to help each other out.  I see my surgeon next week and Im hoping that I don't beg and plead for it to be moved eariler then it is.

I know the feeling....I am always looking on here!!!  I do not even have surgery scheduled yet but hoping in December!!!

 Did the same thing (surgery was 10/24). Drove my husband crazy b/c I spent hours everyday on the computer doing research, reading blogs, etc. It is a big decision and it makes sense to be as informed as possible. good luck!

yep I did the same thing and my surgery was July 13th :) I was always on here reading everything I could.

I lived and breathed this sight for the year before and the year after my surgery.  I totally get the obsession here.  Keep reading, you will learn so much.  Look for people that have been successful and read everything you can by them.  Also, find what hasn't worked as well and learn from the mistakes of others.  It's a great education.  Look for trends, they are there if you are paying attention.

I haven't even been approved for surgery yet and I'm obsessed!!  I'll be a nutcase by the time I get a surgery date!

I am the same way and my surgery is December 16th!

I feel exactly the same way and I don't even have a date yet. I have orientation at two different weight loss centers next week. I am just impatient by nature though, part of my charm lol
