My PCP and NUT told me that I wasn't getting enough calories
I am a crap example. I eat very little during the day usually then eat a lot at night. I'll have a protein bar in the evenings if carbs allow (or 1/2 of one) and I eat a lot of pork rinds (I know-sodium overload but pretty good on protein) Also, Jack Links has a tender strip that is not as high on protein, BUT its easier to get down. I also do a lot of baby bell cheese...those settle really easily.....
My NUT has been doing this for over 20 yrs and everyone swears by her so we will see...but she told me I need 800-1200 calories. She said anything less than 800 is starvation mode and the weight won't come off and if it does its probably muscle I'm loosing. She said only do cardio 3-4 times a week and weights 2 times a week. She said to eat variety of foods and quit living off of shakes and protein that as long as I got 50g protein I was fine. I've been loosing 15+ lbs a month and the days I eat less than 800 I normally don't loose but I think every person is different...I sure know every NUT requires different things! Good luck!
