Insurance question

 

sharnelle78 Thomas Chua Member Since: 08/27/11 [Latest Posts]	Ok so, I have UHC and my paperwork was submitted on 11/7/11. I called my case manger with the insurance company and get her voicemail. She has not returned any of my calls. Called my surgeon's office and was told that my insurance is asking for a billing code. How long is this approval or denial going to take? I was hoping to have this done before the end of the year.

 I have UHC and they took almost 3 weeks! I see you have Dr. Chua...is that the surgeon in Milwaukee?

 Did they tell you the standard time is 15 days? I think this is the worse part of the whole process so far. I was hoping to have this done by the end of the year. Yes, Dr. Chua is in Milwaukee. Is that who you went through ?

 Yup 15 days is typical , business days. My surgeon is Dr. Prewitt his colleague at Sinai hospital. i went to support group last night. I was sleeved last week 11/7/11. Keep me posted on your journey or friend me. Best of luck!
