I do have a question about food...
I know you vets get annoyed by stuff like this, but even though my surgeon had a very thorough plan to follow, there is no mention of raw veggies.
I am 10 weeks out and LOVE cucumbers. Could I maybe have a peeled cucumber (after my protein of course)? Should I wait farther out for that, or would it be okay now?

My surgeon never said anything about raw veggies either (at least I don't remember anything about it in his literature). Some surgeons say to wait three months, which means you're nearly there.
You could probably try a few peeled cuke slices and see how your sleeve tolerates them, and proceed from there.

l sure am NOT a vet, but l did ask my nut about this last week. She said l could have raw fruit & veggies now, but no skins or seeds. And definitely still no nuts or popcorn or regular seeds. l had a couple of slices of cuke the other day, cut away the seeds and the peel. Time consuming, but l really enjoyed the change of pace! So also, for tomatoes, cutting out the seeds.. l haven't had much more than that because l'm so busy trying to eat protein, you know? So l don't know if this is good advise or not, but it's what l've got. =)
