Ladies-clothing size question?

I've been amazed at variations in clothing size between folks who are virtually the same size and weight. I'm lucky - I seem to wear the same clothing size as folks my height and 15 lbs lighter than me. Perhaps that's because I have heavy bone structure and a lot of lean mass.

There's no telling. I've even seen comments from vets that their weight redistributed IN MAINTENANCE and clothing sizes/fit changed.

Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22

It's going to depend on your body shape, how much lean mass you carry, to a degree, and how you like to wear your clothes.  I would think you'll be 4-6ish if you get down to the 140's, maybe smaller.  I'm 142, 5'3", and I'm a 6/8.  As I posted last night, I bought size 6 jeans over the weekend at Eddie Bauer Outlet in Orlanda, and I haven't paid the Credit Card bill yet for the identical style size 10's into the store!  I'm wearing the 6's right now, very comfortably.

I seem to be about 10lbs per size now... I'm 167, 5'6" and just fitting into some 8's. Crazy!!

I've noticed most manufacturers (if you look at their sizing charts) have about 1" waist difference per size (in sizes 12 and below). So, to be more precise, I would say that however long it takes you personally to lose 1" in the waist (10-15lbs) is a good guide.
