HI I am currently almost 8 weeks out but finding it so hard to get in the protein I need. If anyone could please share some YUMMY recipes I would appreciate it. I have never been a fan of vegetables so I really don't eat those my veggies consist mainly of peas and carrots that's about the bulk of it. I do know about eggface's site and have gone there but again my difficulty is having my tastebuds like different foods. I would appreciate any help and thank you for reading

GOD BLESS

I don't really use any special recipes..as I most generally just eat the meat portion of whatever i make for the family..or i eat alot of cottage cheese, or eggs..just simple things.  I don't like my veggies either! lol

Boneless, skinless, chicken breast in crock pot with taco seasoning and a couple tbsp butter on high for four hours.  Shred chicken then add cream cheese, cheddar cheese (or your favorite), a splash of milk, and a can of black beans (drained).  Cook on low for about 30 minutes.  VERY tender and delicious!  Full of protein.  Don't worry so much about the fat.  Best of luck to you!

That sounds really good!   Have you used the low-fat cream cheese?   I know you said don't worry about the fat, but just wondering.

Hey Paula, low fat cream cheese would work fine too.  However, it has additives and it's really not necessary to go low fat.  We need fat in our diets (minus trans fats).  Grains are what we actually don't need.  Lots of interesting research out there.  Best of luck to you on your journey!  ~Jennifer

Thank you Jennifer I will have to try this! It sounds very delicious. I am having so much trouble getting in that protein as I am still only able to eat about 4 spoons of food and I am full and done! Thanks again for sharing and may God Bless

Hey Raquel, have you tried Premier protein shakes?  They have 30 grams protein/3 net carbs.  You can purchase at Costco.  Take advantage of this time of eating tiny amts, it won't last forever!  Good luck.   ~Jennifer
