I have been seeing a Dr but I found out today that he's only done 100 sleeve procedures and I was under the impression it would be better to find a surgeon who has done many more than that.  Does anyone have an recommendations in the Mesa/Tempe area or even Phoenix of a good surgeon that has much more experience in the sleeve?  My surgeon has absolutely NO bedside manner, treats his staff like garbage and I dont like him personally (as far as surgical skill I'm know he's great because he'sthe director of bariatric surgery at the hospital)  but I also don't know how difficult it is to change this late in the game.  I am about to get all my clearances and schedule in 6 weeks or so.

Just some inside info-I was going to do the lapband, that my insurance covers, but decided against it and my insurance won't cover the sleeve so I have to pay cash. I am getting all the pre-op stuff covered on my plan so I just pay the surgery costs and not all the stuff leading up to it.

I went with Dr. Daniel Fang out of the Bridges Center from St. Luke's in PHX. I didn't have any complications and he answered all my questions. I don't know how many sleeves he's done you would have to ask.

Im not sure ill be of much help because I am just starting the process and have not had surgery yet.  I live in NM but I am going to scottsdale bariatric center.  The surgeon I met with for my consutation was Jason Reynoso and I really liked him also there is Robin Blackstone.  I don't know how many sleeve surgerys either of them have done.
