Courtney, she's adorable!! What a little sweetie with a big heart to give something so personal to total strangers... her hair before cut was beautiful and what joy it will bring to someone as a wig... and the haircut is SO cute!! I hope she loves it and doesn't have any regrets. Remind her it is better to give than to receive...which she probably already knows!!

My daughter gave her hair to Locks for Love when she was 9. She and I started growing our hair out so that we could give it again, but my hair has "stalled" *giggles*.

I have 10 year old twins. They did their first locks of love donation while they were in kindergarten. They did their second donation this year. I have to wear a hair system because my hair is so thin, so this cause means a whole lot to me! It's a good lesson for them to learn about giving.

I am going to mention this to my daughter (she's almost five).....she has long red hair and I think she would want to donate once it is long enough. She always wants to help other kids.
