So today I am 8wks post op I feel great its crazy how fast I got use to this new normal... I came back to work 9 days after surgery and havent stopped since... i could have came back after 3 days prob but i wanted to get use to my new diet and take it easy for awhile... i am down about 45lbs since surgery and 83lbs since i started this journey in April of 2011, and 90lbs since my heaviest weight... i havent weighed what i weigh now since middle school... i am built really thick but im thinking that i can get to 180 my doctors goal is 200lbs but im thinking i can get to 180 and be happy about it... ive gone from a XXXL to a L and im thinking ill be able to get into a medium by summer time... Ive got some new clothes from goodwill and donated all my old fat clothes... i cant wait for the summer im gonna have to get a whole new wardrobe... im so ready for the next 6months to be done with but the journey there is gonna be fun too i guess... i joined a gym and workout 4-5 times a week i started lifting weights and am gonna try to put a little muscle on im not sure how hard thats going to be... ill have to post some new pics... im about 40lbs lighter than my profile pic... lol I love my Sleeve!!!! best decsion ever!!!!

Wow!!! Sounds like you are doing amazing. I can't help but try to imagine buying smaller sizes and the great feeling that would bring about!

I'm thinking that the rapid weight loss just builds and adds more and more motivation. Keep up the good work, you are doing SO GOOD!
