Hi Guys, I 've been on this board since April last year, met some cool people and read a lot of useful posts. Trouble is, now that my time is rearing close, I now realize that I didn't book mark or jot down a lot of the imformation. Can you please post below where you bought your protein drinks and powders?
I remember reading that Costco was very good for supliments and protein powder, walmart and nutrition stores also. Am I missing any spots? I dont have any websites to check out so please include those.
Thanks so much everyone.

Vitamin Shoppe, if you have one nearby, is a good source and they have some samples. I've been too chicken to try Walmart/Costco etc protein because if you don't like it, you're stuck. I won't buy a tub if I can't try it first.

Well, it's all fresh for me so this is what I know.  Premixed protein shakes (160 cal/30g) can be purchased at Costco and Sams = Premier Nutrition (by the case).  I went online to both Syntrax Nectar and Unjury and ordered their sample packs so I would know what I liked and what I didn't.  GNC and Vitamin Shoppe (best selection) sells Nectar, Jay Robb and a few others.  Also GNC has good but very sweet premixed shakes.  The thing I like about the Unjury powders is... they have a chicken soup and it's just nice to have that savory flavor on your tongue.  They also have unflavored poweder so you can make any liquid in your kitchen into a protein drink.  Good luck on your adventure... it's worth it!

www.dietdirect.com

i get most of my protein from there, or unjury.

these are my favorite shakes: http://www.dietdirect.com/bari-wise-health-fruit-drinks.html and most my vitamins i get are perscription (they were nice and did that to help save my parents some money) except the calcium citrate, which i get from bariatric advantage.. (i forget ifits .com or .org..)

I bought a sampler pack of 13 individual servings of Syntrax Nectar protein.  You can google it and see some different stores and offers.  I decided I really liked the Chocolate Truffle and ordered 2 pounds of that from one of the (many) sites that sell protein supplements.  I also ordered individual packages of unflavored and chicken soup flavored protein from Unjury's website.  I really liked the chicken soup flavor and ordered a tub of it.  A friend recommended Optimum Nutrition and I ordered 2 lb of the caramel toffee fudge flavor and loved it.  So, I reordered 5 lbs when I was out.

But here's my advice.  Don't overbuy.  Get some individual packages of Syntrax Nectar and Unjury.  If you get 20 individual servings or so, you can try them and order more of what you like.  I don't really use the chicken soup flavor anymore, but it was a lifesaver after surgery because I got really tired of the sweet stuff.

Some people hate the protein so much they choke them down while they have to and then get all their protein from food after that.  I still use one supplement in the morning, in my decaf coffee.

I just had the Chicken soup for lunch and it was yummy.  I won't lie, you still know there's protein power in it, but it's got so much flavor that it's masked quite a bit.  At least I don't gag from the sweet!  I agree with Happy 100%.  Call or go online and order the samplers and you will find several you like.  I also like the Choc. truffle and the strawberry sorbet from unjury mixed w/a small bit of greek yogurt as it tasted like eating mousse!  Also, the advantage of the Nectar proteins as they're mixable with water so it makes a quick "out-the-door" way to carry your protein and some of their flavors are pretty unique.
