Gall bladder

Anyone else having pain from theirs?  Mine was 'healthy' so it wasn't removed at my VSG surgery.  Crap, I cannot even emotionally handle surgery right now.  I'm just now recovering and feeling like myself.
Crap, crap, crap...

I chose to have mine out at the same time , because I have had isssues in the past. I am glad I did . It seems to be a problem after WLS.
Hope you feel better soon.

I haven't had my sleeve yet but I had my gallbladder removed on December 19, 2011. I was trying to wait to have both done at the same time because I didn't want to have two surgeries. However, the gallbladder attack was so painfull I couldn't wait. I asked my OH family about their pain after the gallbladder surgery because I was in some pain for about a week and most of them responded by saying their recovery from the sleeve was much easier than the gallbladder surgery. I hope this is helpfull. I will certainly keep you in my prayers. I don't wish a gallstone attack on anyone!

I starting having gallbladder issues in July. I had mine removed in December, 2011. Went for my 1 yr anniversary check and told Dr. about them as they were getting to be pretty often and worse each time. He had an ultrsound done and yes, it was full to the max. Let me tell you - everyone said "gallbladder is a piece of cake" well I guess mine decided not to be. I have had 2 children by c-section and the sleeve last December 2010, and I would have a baby and a sleeve at the same time compared to the gallbladder surgery. Not fun at all. Also, when I had all my before surgery workups, he checked my gallbladder and it was fine. Glad it is gone now. Good luck to you.
