Will varicose veins go away when you lose the weight?

There are new treatments out for varicose veins. They go into the main feeder vein, the saphenous, and tie the feeder off and theoretically all the veins that are fed by it should die off. It is not 100%. Google "varicose vein treatment." Mine are horrendous after losing weight. I need the surgery done on both my legs. I am waiting for maintenance. Also insurance will not pay unless you wear compression hose for 6 months, then document they are not improved, etc. More run-around stuff. sigh.........

Mine did not go away instead the lack of fat on my legs has made them more pronounced.
