Colonoscopy prep! UUUUHHHHGGGG!

I am definately gagging on this stuff. My stomach does not like it either.
It's 16 oz but it feels like 60
Then I have to drink another 32 oz of water with-in the next two hours.
Then I have to do it all over again at 5am.

OMG...it's the first time since surgery that I really wish I could just chug it all down at once and get it over with.

I hope I dont puke....

Fortunately, the prep is the worst part. Here's hoping it gets better soon.

Is this your first one? The prep is awful. I have to have one every 2 years and haven't had to have one sine surgery. I'm DREADING all the drinking with only 1/4 of the stomach. I wonder if they'll give me less to drink because of it?

 You can request the osmoprep which is taking pills with plain water. I did the prep and I did throw up but I was clean and the exam went well. You just have to go slower than a regular person, start a little earlier and it should work out.

 OH MY GOSH! I had to do it a couple of months ago and thought i would die. I had to drink about a gallon and a half of that prep stuff. I had it running out all over the place (sorry).  I was so happy when everything was ok and Dr. said 10 years until the next time.  I feel for you. It is THE WORST. Of course, it's important to do it and I wish you well. 

 Ok I have to have one tomorrow and the prep is the 4 liters of liquid yuck.  They wanted me to drink it starting an hour ago which was about 3pm and I told them there would be no way for me to get it all down.  So I started at 10am and only have of it is gone.  I haven't really had much going on with the output yet, but I hope it starts soon.  A lot of noise in my bowels but not much movement.  I'm doing the 4 liter bottle and mag citrate in the morning.  Please advice.
