Hi Melissa, and welcome to the forum!!  I personally believe you will be happy with your vsg.
Follow your Dr.'s plan and exercise and you will succeed to goal.

Congrats on your surgery!! And in my humble opinion I think you got a better deal for your surgery!

I love my sleeve. And yes....there are quite a few veterans on this forum that have lost well over 150-200# so you are in good company!

Congratulations Melissa!!!! You are well on your way now to permanent weight loss. I bet it was a shock to find you have the VSG, but look at the girl above me a few.. she lost 188 lbs on it! You will do great :-)

Congratulations on being sleeved and welcome to the losers bench. I hope you find this a good thing. Many people have lost a lot with this surgery. I have lost 80 and still plan to lose another 75 and there are quite a few people a lot on here who have reached goal and started out with a lot more to lose than I did. So, just remember protein first (once you are cleared for solids), take your vitamins, drink your water and excercise. You absolutely can do this. VSG is an awesome tool for you to use to reach your goal.
