Ok...I have done really well so far...I am not trying to complain about this, but I feel lost and dont know what my next step is...I believe my body has adjusted to pretty much no carbs...if any, maybe 8-10 per day...and since its adjusted I am assuming it thinks no more weight needs to come off? I  have been told a variety of different things--one is I need to change up my diet adding in whole grains and fruits for the good carbs--but I have yet to do this..everything that goes in my mouth is protein-I know I am not lacking it!! But I am confused why my body has decided to slow WAY down on the loss? I am still working out--but am unclear what path I need to be  on for my diet? I need the experts advice here--for those of u that have come close or hit your goal PLEASE guide me as to what u did to break this stall? I know this has to be normal? nThanks so much!!

Are you tracking your food? What are your quantities of protein, carbs, how many calories? Are you drinking enough? The average post op diet seems to be 600-800 calories, 60-80 protein, under 40 carbs and 64 oz fluids. Are you consuming a lot of sodium? I am very sensitive to sodium.

Are you losing inches? If you are in a stall on the weight, you're probably getting smaller.

edit:  I think some people are terrified to have any carbs.  Don't be afraid to add some good ones, but stay under 40.

here is my normal day:
breakfast: an egg with sausage or bacon
snack: 97% fat free turkey breast 1.5 oz (15-20g protein)
lunch: normally either: chicken (18g protein in 3 oz) fajitas with no shell, chili
snack: left overs from lunch
dinner: about 2 oz servings of: steak, chicken, crab legs, taco salad, jennie o hamburger patty (1/2) with no bun

I normally get about 58-64 liquids in a day...normally I do not eat 10 carbs a day. I am not sure about the inches---I know the jeans I have on fit the same they did last weekend? unless I am losing them somewhere else.

You said that you don't have many carbs but Chili has a lot of carbs. It was a "no no" on my diet plan. Perhaps you are having a lot more carbs than what you think you are getting. I would try to get in more exercise as well. I think that the reason that I never really had much of a stall (once i didn't lose anything for about a week) was because I made time to exercise at least an hour each day and really tracked my carbs and protein.

I can't speak from experience post-sleeve since I'm early in the journey, so I'm drawing on memories of dieting and weight loss over the years.

In my experience, the greater the amount of weight you have to lose, the faster it comes off.  You've lost a lot so far and now have less to lose, so I think it's natural for the pace to slow down a little.  I've seen some people here suggest upping your calorie or carb count for a few days and then going back to what you've followed regularly to see if that shakes up your body and metabolism a little.

Are you consistent with your exercise?  Maybe shaking that up a bit too will help!

Good luck!

the only excercise regimen I follow 5 times a week is walking--I sometimes take a day or two off--but normally, I will switch up with either my wii fit, zumba or biggest loser workout....I have been told to add more calories and carbs for 5 days and then back to this--but I am scared to because my normal understanding is that if I add those, how is weight going to come off?? Doesnt that make me gain weight? I have some family members who have the sleeve, and they fell off the wagon and started eating whatever they wanted and stopped losing weight---now they didnt gain any--but stopped losing and I want better success!!

I see  you have lost over 50 lbs in a few months.  Did any of that include pre op? When did the weight loss slow down and how much did it slow down?

yes I have! No--only 5 lbs was pre-op...So, since surgery, I have lost 49 lbs. the stall started a few weeks ago--went from losing 3-5 lbs every week to 1 lb a week or nothing...or I lose a lb and then its back and forth....and I mean I have had great results through now...I expected it to slow down too but its very frusterating when u arent eating the bad things and u are working out and the results stop.

Sounds like you are in a stall.  Keep following your plan and things will pick up again.

Can you list your weekly losses over the past 8 weeks?  I'd bet that you are losing, just slowly for the past few weeks, and that's pretty normal.  Hang in there.
