Has anyone tried this product? Seems too good to be true if it tastes ok!
Apparently it is a combination of whey, collagen and casein proteins in fruit flavours.

Ingredients: 67.4% Pure deionized water, 31.5% Actinase* [patent pending blend of enzymatically hydrolyzed (predigested) collagenic protein isolate, less (ascorbic acid (c), niacin (B3), partothenic acid (B5), pyridoxine (B6), riboflavin (B2), thiamin (B1), folic acid, biotin and cobalamin (B12)], natural flavors, acesulfame-potassium, sucralose, blue 1 and red 40. † Daily Value not established.

**The only protein listed is Collagen isolate. This is not the best option and in my opinion should not be used. Whey protein isolate is the best choice and most easily absorbed.

From Wikipedia re collagen protein (EWWW!!!)

Collagen
(play /ˈkɒləɨn/) is a group of naturally occurring proteins found in animals, especially in the flesh and connective tissues of mammals.[1] It is the main component of connective tissue, and is the most abundant protein in mammals,[2] making up about 25% to 35% of the whole-body protein content. Collagen, in the form of elongated fibrils, is mostly found in fibrous tissues such as tendon, ligament and skin, and is also abundant in cornea, cartilage, bone, blood vessels, the gut, and intervertebral disc. The fibroblast is the most common cell which creates collagen

These are definitely too good to be true.  THe collagen protein is garbage and unfortunately, that's the majority of what these are made of.  See the earlier post today about the different forms of protein.

Funny you should post this, I just went to my transition class and New Whey is one of the liquid protein waters they recommended. Especially after living off of shakes for the past 4 weeks! For me its a plus because I can down it in one shot, and because its liquid it doesnt count as a meal, which allows me to try different things since I can now eat solids. Also, it's readily available at local chain stores like Vitamin Shoppe and GNC which is a huge plus!
