Konjac Root - I have some, now what do I do with it??

I will use it to thicken up soups, so that they stick in my bellah, since they typically do not.
Or for a sweet something I will thicken up some crystal light.
But again, its only fiber, and not nutritive, so I would encourage folks who cannot eat all their protein yet to not waste space with fillers.
But I am not the boss of their minds either.
ALSO.. follow the 2 hour rule with supplements with this, it WILL inhibit good absorption of your supplements if you take it near/with.

Know this, 5 g of will thicken up 2 cups of HOT broth quickly!! And you need to have your whisk at the ready!!
And also for the knowing, somehow it tamps down the flavor of things, so - a delicate broth will end up being a bland goo, so if you can spice up your broth, the flavor will come through better.
I like to use curries, Indian pickles, and whatnot. Or use the broth that came from when I crock'd down a big bunch o meat!
