Loving me some Edamame!!!

 Seen a few posts up here about this great litle snack and had to try for myself.  I got me 12 4oz packages from amazon for around $14.  Yum Yum these are so much better than nuts and the nutritional value is too.  So in 1/4 cup is 130 cal 4 g fat 10 g carb(8 of which is fiber, yeah I net it so 2carbs for me), and 14 g of protein.  This is on top of my list of super protein foods.  I'm so glad I paid attention to the posts lol  You can learn so many things up here just like cheese crisps which I enjoy with my plain greek yogurt. Hmmmm gonna try some edamame with greek yogurt. I love to experiment lol  Kerry

I like to get them still in the pods and steam them in the microwave. Add a little butter spray, black pepper, and garlic. You don't eat the pod of course, but it gives a lot of yummy flavor when you suck the edamame out. Yum yum.
