Mistakes...I've made a few and some friendly advise

I think most start with an over the counter type like Prilocec but it probably depends on what your surgeon decides.
Some people have acid issues before surgery and the surgeons are more proactive and prescribe meds even before they have surgery.
Others like me, just start with OTC and work it through.

You will need to talk to your surgeon and set up a plan for the after surgery acid issues.

 Thanks for this.  I am still in the process of contemplating this surgery.  I don't want to be one of those who goes back to terrible eating habits.
