Sounds good!  I'm just starting w/ this protein thing (surgery in a few weeks), but I'm wondering what this would be like w/ chocolate protein powder?  Opinions welcome!

It's not  bad if you add a little of the SF dry pudding mix (choco) with it. Sometimes the protein powder isn't strong enough. You could do chocolate or vanilla and change up the pudding flavors.

Eggface had a recipe that I've changed a little---take 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt, 1 scoop of protein powder and then I add a few pumps of SF syrup. Mix it all together then divide it into ice cube trays (I use 2) or cookie sheet. Freeze. Kind of a replacement for a popsicle. Something different for awhile.

All kinds of things can be done with greek yogurt!

Edited to add---eggface website recipe

Have you found any Greek yogurts that are low in sugar? They all seem to be high in calories. Any low carb brands that you know of?

I find the stats on Fage to be very good.

I think the carbs in Fage are also too high for me.  However, I like the Carbmaster brand from Kroger.  It has only about 4 - 5 carbs (depends on flavor), 60 cals and 8 gm protein.

They have some really great flavors.

All the flavored Greek yogurts have more carbs because of the sugar they add. I love Chobani strawberry banana, but this week tried Fage plain for the first time. It's definitely the most creamy and thick. The non fat has 7g carbs, 18g protein and 100 calories. I add blueberries and about six packets of stevia and stirred till my arm was tired. Pretty good.
