Happy One Month Anniversary to Me ... my VSG on Feb 6/12 in Mexico

I am officially down 37 lbs .... plus losing the 6 I gained in the hospital so 43lbs since I started weighing myself around Jan 10/12.

My pants are baggy, I am pretty pleased so far.

I am leaving work early today to have a one month checkup with my GP to request blood work and tell him what I did. Hope I don't get a lecture

That's great! Did he give you a time schedule for blood work? I haven't seen my PCP yet. I was thinking at the 2 month mark.

Dr. A didn't really say anything but I thought at 30 days it would be appropriate. My GP sent me for blood work today to make sure my potassium isn't low and gave me another requisition to do in another 30 days for the whole works sodium, potassium, hemoglobin etc.
