So excited--met with surgeon (Dr. Nicholson) for the 1st time!

I am so super excited! I met with Dr. Nick Nicholson for the first time today.  He was sooo incredibly thorough and kind.  He answered all of my questions and more--and never made me feel rushed. My current insurance does not cover wls but I explained that I may switch to my teacher insurance in September.  He felt confident that it would be approved. I told him if he really didn't think it would be approved-then I would be willing to do self-pay and get it done asap.  He was very honest and said he would not want me to have to pay all of that when we could just wait a few months and save a lot of money!! Yea!!!

So I feel like I'm one step closer.  I'm not sure when I will do it yet.  I may have to see how things go with next year's group of kids.  It's hard to leave your little ones early in the school year. I teach kindergarten so it's soo important to get good routines/procedures established early on.  Perhaps I will do it after the holidays.
