Constipation Monster....

Well I can so relate! And after 5 1/2 months I still suffer with constipation, but I don't let it got to that point. You will learn and adjust how your bowels are now working. You might try a tea called Smooth Move, I get it at Whole Foods and it works miracles! Someone here on OH suggested it me and it really works well. Good luck and congrats to a good POOP!

 Thank you i will have to try that tea,I had a good poop and it was awesome but i will for sure pick up tea.

I also suffer the "C" monster.  I also have diverticulitis so have to be very careful I don't blow a gut...I take 40 grams of fiber a day via 4 gummy fibers in the AM and 4 in the PM.  I also take mirilax every day in about 3 oz of vitawater it keeps me very regular and my GI says its safe to use daily.  (I actually switched from Mirilax to the generic from Costco because I can buy 3 large bottles of it in a pac for just a bit more than buying one bottle and the ingredients are exactly the same.

I dont mean to sound stupid, but What does constipation feel like?......My whole life I have had the opposite and never been constipated. Please describe with symptoms..... Thanks :)

 To me there is no such things as a stupid question...I'm the type of person that goes regularly before surgery so this was a different experience for me and boy oh boy.I guess the way to explain it would be like shaking a bottle of soda and the pressure building up but there is no where for it to escape so the pressure in this case just sits at the top with no way to get out.

so was it just your intestines that were all backed up, or was it bothering your stomach too?

 Totally ,It had me feeling very bloated.Its not a good feeling at all,I guess my explanation wasn't the best.You can try doing a google search and it will probably give you a better explanation then i did or try youtube.
