OMG... first time with a stomach virus post VSG... blah!
However, not scary... it was kind of freaking me out... but no need to worry...
The only real issue is that I am SUPER carb sensitive and I simply had to throw it all out and not worry about it...
I killed an entier bottle of 100% juice in 2 days and ate pretzels (would have had saltines, but the are a trigger for me and I didn't have them in the house!)... I couldn't even bring myself to care about the carbs... it was all that would settle and the trade off with the juice seemed worth it to me for the hydration and some level of sugar...
I am thankful for my sleeve and that I had that option... I know there are low sugar ways around being sick, but ick... it's nice to have the option to do whatever I need to do in a situation... it also saved me when my daughter was unexpectedly in the children's hospital for 3 days and I had SUPER limited choices... I could pick of the tray she didn't eat and have cereal and crackers from the kitchen and get by...
Now I"m just having a heck of a time getting back on real food... but that isn't sleeve specific... I'm just so much more aware of my food choices now than I ever was before...
Sorry to whine :-(
