I think because people focus on our faces, they can sometimes miss the fact we still have weight to lose 'down below.'   You have to get to a size and body composition that makes you happy.  I like lean. I'm just working on 'leaner' on the bottom half now.

If you could get a hydrostatic weighing or Bod POD or DEXA scan, it might give you a better idea of where you are at. You have lost a lot of weight, so how much is excess skin? The previous mentioned tests, can evaluate your body fat and muscle percentages, without the excess skin getting in the way. You are within a normal BMI, which is fantastic for WLS folks.

The feeling of being FAT, takes awhile to decrease. I still feel it, and I am in the middle of the BMI range for my height. What helped me to get some peace about it, was having a couple of hydrostatic weighing tests, which showed a relatively low body fat percentage. I also work out a lot and have some muscle. In addition, I'm a small person, but not a small frame.

Your family and friends are not used to you as a smaller person. I used to get comments like that, when I knew, I had 20 lbs to go.

Since I have been maintaining within a two pound range for the past year, I can tell you, that your fat does redistribute and some of the bonyness decreases as your body settles into the new weight range. The head stuff is still there, but some of it is decreasing with the passage of time.

How did I know, it was time to stop? My body stopped, about the same time that I reached the goal that my PCP recommended for me. I think that when I have plastics, I may lose another couple of pounds or maybe not.

Check with local universities and gyms for hydrostatic and Bod Pod testing.
