A moment to reflect on how much eating habits have improved.

Just taking a minute to appreciate the vast improvement in the eating habits.  Today was the first holiday challenge, since Christmas was just a few days after surgery and didn't count.  I followed Elina's advice from posts long ago about planning, planning for dessert, and planning to stay on track.  I had no difficulty today despite being surrounded be some of my old favorite vices.  It just feels really good to be a place where I can enjoy the family without abusing the food :)

Congrats! It really does feel great to be in control of what I eat as I did well today too. We actually went out to eat and trust me, 90 percent of what was served was full of calories and fat. I found something that worked into my plan and I am under my calorie and carb goal for the day even with a bite of a treat!
