I like easy .. mine is easy as pie

Nutrametrix vitamins.  Powder you mix with water turns it into Isotonic solution (same as your blood and other body fluids) which is rapidly and easily absorbed into the body and very little is discarded and wasted like the pills and chewables.

All vitamins done in the morning together in the same glass and I'm done for the entire day.

Isotonix Multivatimin with Iron
Isotonix Calcium Complete (can take this same time as Iron unlike pill form since its already                                                                 Isotonic)
Isotonix OPC-3 (Anitioxidant with cardiovascular and joint health, cholesterol and sugar levels, etc)

Vit B12 shot once/month

Takes 5 minutes to drink the glass of vitamins and I'm done all day.  Easy peasie.

It tastes a little funny to me but that is better then taking 1,000 pills throughout the day.  I think it would taste much better if I took them each seperately but I mix all 3 together in one glass so it tastes a little weird but nothing I cant handle.  If its keeping me alive I'll drink cough syrup .. I'm not doing it for what it tastes like.  But that is just me.  Some people taste is important to them I'm sure.

You mix it with 2 oz of water for each cap full of the powder you are taking.

1 cap of multivitamins with iron
3 caps of calcium
1 cap of OPC-3

10 oz of water.

I tried the Nutrametrix the first 3 weeks after surgery and couldn't tolerate the taste, yuck!  It also took FOREVER to drink in the morning while trying to get ready, fix breakfast and get the kids dressed and out the door for school by 7:30am so I switched to the Bariatric Advantage...so much easier FOR ME...now I just pop and chew on my way out the door=)

That company doesn't advertise that you can get all your daily Calcium in one sitting. On their website the even mention in the FAQ section that you only absorb so much (up to 500mg) and even on the bottle directions it tells you to take it more then once daily. You only get 375mg per capful... Which most people need between 1,000-1,500mg daily.

Which is why i do 3 cap fulls every morning .. Just had my labs done last week and everything was perfect.

I'm reading the bottle right now as I type.

"this product is best taken twice daily, 1 capful in the morning and 1 in the evening (or as directed by your healthcare provider.)

My nutritionist gave me the instructions to take 3 capfuls in the morning .. /shrug

Per their website they acknowledge that you only absorb "300-400mg" at a time. I understand your labs are fine now, but so were mine pre-op when I didnt take vitamins at all. Just letting you know that is not what they advertise. So it's a waste to do 3 capfuls. Even at 1 capful 2x daily... It's not enough. I try to do it 3x daily but it's hard on weekdays so I got a chewable for work.

Well I guess i have to email my nutritionist and mention it then.  I'm simply doing what they told me to do.  She has a masters degree in this stuff so I figured she knew what she was doing .. the drug reps were at the class too selling the stuff and they didnt say otherwise.  /shrug

I emailed the company when I read the faq section & their bottle. I found it weird that they even tell people how many mg diff age groups should get daily but on the bottle it days twice which doesn't even get people to the 1000mg daily without considering the people who need 1500mg.
