It's only April and I gotta say...Life is good.
I've been working two days in the garden to put in an Asparagus bed and I got it DOWN!

I'm going to have the BEST Asparagus in the North East...i got the sunburn to prove it!

I can grow plants inside but two years in a row I tried to grow tomatos in 5 gallon buckes on the patio.....tried.....I suck at that. I did ok with herbs out there.....anyway, Im trust you can do it...

Ouch that looks like you are in for a rough evening, hope you don't get sick from that sunburn. Lots of fluids for you!!!

I think my summer would be too short to grow esparagus but something I could try. I go through lots of spinach and romaine lettuce and thinking of planting them this year. I use to do cherry tomatoes but they are not in my diet this year so no point. Could you tell me how long it takes for the esparagus to grow etc... Most people plant in June here and sometimes there is still the odd night of frost then so it is risky.
