VSG and popsicles/juice problem

I havent had my surgery yet but I am wondering if those of you who have gotten through this stage can advise me of what to tell my aftercare people. I have to watch my sugars/carbs as I have reactive hypoglycemia. I read on here where people get juice or popsicles and I cant do that without having protein with it or I end up in a bad state. Protein at this stage will not be possible from what I have learned. What do you suggest I have during this phase? Just stick with water??

I am going to Mexico for it and the only thing they couldnt answer really well for me was that stage..they thought pure juices from fruit would be better but I cant have that. Any help for preparing for this would be greatly appreciated!

You could do broth.  As for protein, the thinnest types are Isopure (get it at GNC) or Syntrax Nectars (mybariatricpantry.com).  The Isopure comes premixed so that'd be hard to take to Mexico.  The Nectars are powder... try a sampler first.

I also had severe reactive hypoglycemia- was revised to a sleeve.  I did clear liquids for 72 hours then could do full liquids- I was able to do protein shakes- diluted more than usual, sf jello/pudding and sf popsicles- sparingly.  I could tolerate low carb
