i had LASIK done 8 years ago and i love the result. It is the best thing i have done. It is so freeing to be rid of eyeglasses and contact lenses. i don't think having LASIK done post VSG is a bad idea. It is doable. i remember having to apply drops and gels. The first couple days after LASIK are very important but you will be in resting mode anyway due to vsg. After LASIK you can take your eyeglasses, put them on the curb of busy road, and kick them into the road... hehe
