I just read a post below mine about not seeing yourself in the mirror.  I can so relate.  I still
feel like I am huge, I just cannot see myself as I am.  I wish just for a minute i could
see me through someone elses eyes..to really SEE me.

I can see the differences in photos..but not when i look in the mirror.  I still see fat Dawn..
maybe one day that will change..hopefully.

I still hold up my jeans (the size 13 juniors jeans in the photo below) and think there is
NO WAY i can fit my butt in these..yet i do..and they are loose on me.  I sometimes stare
at my jeans when folding them on laundry day..just trying to SEE me wearing them..and
picture how i look..cause i just don't see it.

Anyhow..I'm happy to know that it isn't just me that feels this way..and that it seems to be normal..

Here's a photo of my before pants (size 32) that used to be very tight on me..and
my current size 13 juniors jeans that are loose on me.. (I can fit both legs into
one pant leg of those before pants)..

I know! The difference is amazing! I hold up those before pants..and I cannot believe that i wore them..or that they fit..AND the fact that I thought I looked great in them..

After that mirror post I thought about grabbing my old jeans and taking a peek at them too! I go into stores and grab my current size and they look sooo tiny. I can't yet wrap my head around it.. My husband noted something the other day while we were folding clothes- he has to check tags to see which jeans are mine once in a while.. He's 6' tall and weighs under 150. He wears a 30x34. Now, I wish I were that long-legged, but I grabbed his jeans, and they fit damnit!! In fact I kinda liked the way they fit in the legs better than mine- snugger.. Amazing, and confounding.

I know what you mean..my soon to be ex husband had folded my clothes and he commented that my clothes are so light weight..theirs hardly anything there he said.  He commented that he had to look to see if the shirts were mine or our almost 12 yr old son's..lol  Never before would that have been a problem..or be questioned at all.

Fabulous picture!  I once went to Paris with a friend, short trip.  My suitcase was twice  the size of hers.  You're going to be able to fit all your clothes into a carry-on when you travel!  I loved  going to Spain last summer for two weeks and using just a carry on.  Sometimes the small (no pun intended) things mean so much.
