What is a good scale brand?

I am moving from my parents house in July and would like to buy a scale to check my progress when I have the surgery. My parents have a Weigh****chers scale that is utter **** I will not buy a Weigh****chers scale because of this one. I step on it, it says one thing, I step on it again two seconds later, it says something completely different. So, I was wondering what everyone else used for their home scales. I don't really weigh myself that often because the scale is very unreliable (there was a 9lb difference between it and the doctors scale, but it was to my benefit, so it's okay
).

LOL i have ww scale too. It's TERRIBLE. It seems fine if you're light, my 130 lb mom weighs same every time...mine varies 5-9 lbs like yours does (which i think is ironic considering its ww!). My Taylor dial scale gives me problems too...it weighs me about 5 lbs light. So i'll weigh on ww, then weigh on the Taylor, then split it down the middle!
I hope someone has a better brand suggestion!

I have a taylor digital scale that I got from Target. It does a great job. Very consistent weight and the batteries last forever.

I am very happy with my latest scale purchase. I bought a health-o-meter from walmart for under 30 dollars. It weighs in .2 increments, has a 4 "person" memory, a pretty wide base, and is accurate. I can step on it 5 times in a row and I'm going to weigh the same thing.
Plus, I only weighed 1.6 lbs more at my surgeon's office and that was with jeans on.
