If you have never tried, you must find a place that does it! I love to dance and it's always been my favorite workout.

But I am getting antsy already and I want to be done healing and get back to my workouts!

When are we allowed to go back to the gym?

I was not cleared for anything other than walking until six weeks out. Be careful, even with Zumba, or any other dancing. It could be twisting your abdominals in ways that your body does not need right now, and you may not feel the effects until later, when it's too late to employ the "stop if it hurts" rule.

Hey there!

I was cleared at 2 weeks to start slow and by 3-4 weeks was back to my regular routine!!  I LOVE aerobics so I was antsy for the first month post op until I could go "all out" again!!  GO SLOW when you start...I was doing about 20 min daily at first and now I workout an hour/day!

TRY to be patient with yourself (it's so hard to do).  You'll be rocking it out again in NO TIME!!

I was allowed to walk after surgery, I was cleared to exercise but no lifting after 2 weeks & I was allowed to lift no more than 10 to 15 pounds after six week. But I'm still not allowed to do sit up I'm more than 2 months.
I hope will help you.
