Congratulations Happy! You are such an inspiration! You always help put things in perspective. I,too, am a food addict. Yesterday was the first time in six months that I relapsed back into my old eating behaviors. WOW- was that a wake up call for me. I thought I had that conquered. Apparently not. I'm determined to be back on track today. Your post really helped- as always!

You know what they say in OA? That while we're in recovery, our disease is outside the door doing push ups. I got back into the sugar after 9 years of not eating it. I thought I could just stop. It was *9 more years* before I was able to get back off it again.
