I HATE MY CLOSET!

So today I found myself laughing and crying at the same time.  My closet was a mess this morning because nothing fit.    I sat in bed and screamed I HATE MY CLOSET! and then I started to cry because I hate my closet for different reasons now not because my clothes are small but because everything is big.  Everything is swimming in me.  I am going to have to buy some work suits because none of them fit any more.

Then in fustration, I look in the back of my closet and I found a shirt that I got about 6 ot 7 months ago online.  I remembered that when I got it, I put it on and the buttons didn't touch AT ALL so I was embarassed to sent it back to I put in my closet.  This morning I saw it and it still had the tag on it  I put it on and not only do the shirt fit but it is kind of loose on me now.  

Never mind I LOVE MY CLOSET!!!  LOL 

Way to work out those emotions! It is a weird feeling, I've been there too. I've overhauled my closet several times since my surgery in Feburary & it feels so liberating to just start stacking up clothes to get rid of that no longer fit due to being too big now! I'm not sure where you live or what you have access to, but there are a lot of FB pages dedicated to buy, selling, trading clothing where I live & it has been an enormous blessing to shed those unneeded items & get replacements for cheap...it's like a revolving closet door at this point & I'm just trying to embrace it! Hope you have a great time shopping for new- more-fitting clothes soon! ~Melissa

Give it away..make an inventory of everything, donate it and use it on your taxes.  Time to buy new clothes!  This is a good thing : )

((HUGS)) I know this all too well. I've gone through at least 4 closets of clothing in all of this. I ran into a brick wall a few weeks ago because everything I had was too big and I was terrified of stores. I would go in and not know where to start. I'd ONLY been able to shop in ONE store (Catherines) for so many years that I was overwhelmed.

I finally pushed myself past it and now like shopping a little too much. LOL. Hang in there, it's daunting going through all of those clothes, but get rid of them... you'll feel better when you have new, shiny nice stuff to wear again!
