Creamy Soup Today

I just went from clear liquid to cream today and my first food in 4 weeks was Butternut Squash Soup. Not really any protein but I will make up for it later. But OMG my body was like "Oh Yeah Baby".

Today is my 8th day since surgery.

 still on liquids and thats sounds amazing. all this food *****n tv is killing me haha.

I know what you mean! I loved getting to sip on soups again. Did your dr tell you to strain them first? I had to strain all creamed soups but it was still awesome at the time! My husband picked me up a candle warmer at Wal-Mart for $5 and I would pour my creamed soups into a ceramic coffee cup and keep them warm next to my chair to sip on. I also put unflavored Unjury protein powder in my soups to help get my protein in and it was great! Good luck and keep posting!

Great idea on the candle warmer. I remicrowave my little soup portions so often I told my husband I needed a hot plate. I bet I could use the candle warmer once I go back to work too. Thanks,
