Carb Counting and Foods that are Worth It

Premier RTD (Costco and Sams) is great and has 160 calories, 5gr. carb and 30 gr of protein.  I drink it daily.

Your body can't process more than 30 grams of protein at once.  It's 30 grams every two hours...or so the doctor says.  Over 30?  Just a waste.  Also you want Whey Isolate because some people don't fully absorbed all the protein from a protein concentrate.  I think any isolate will work but do the research (that's what the doctor told me again).   Carbs?  I always ask if people count the carbs in their supplements but get no answer.  It's not logical to me to not eat fiber and than take supplements.  So get fiber in your food why not?  Your colon will thank you! lol.  I stay under 40 carbs (normally lower) total even with fiber. I try to get as much fiber as possible from food but take supplements when needed.

 

Oh try Gold Standard Protein...3 grams of carbs and 24 grams of protein...still you will have to try lots of different ones until you find what works for you.
