Water retention and Whining (long)
Sounds like your body is on a hormonal rollercoaster. At least you know it is water that is causing the weight gain. There is no way you could eat enough calories in that short amount of time and gain 8 pounds.
Lots of hugs during this difficult time. It will come off, I know it will.

Just sending you a big hug, but I couldn't find one -- so I'm sending you a fairy with a magic wand! Hoping she'll wave it and all your water weight will be gone -- be careful when you wish for that -- you wouldn't want it gushing down your leg or anything!

You have such dedication despite your present challenges.

This will get resolved and you'll get back to normal and life will be beautiful again. Hard to be patient when you've already been patient, but this will pass.
