Small carbs are like tiny aliens - they grow inside you and then burst forth in most unpleasant ways.

You'll never look at a cookie the same way again.

Ya know, this is one thing I've been really good about. I have yet to overeat to the point of throwing up. I have eaten a bite too many, but for the most part your "undereat the sleeve" is something I live by... xoxo

Speaking of which. I really need to suck it up and go buy new jeans. I'm SO SICK of buying new clothes.

I CAN'T WAIT to have that problem, Sleevegirl! :-)  I have refused to buy new clothes at this size so I haven't gotten much new stuff in awhile...

It was cool at first, now I'm just annoyed. I started at size 34 pants. I'm wearing baggy 16s now. Sounds great and fun, but it's expensive and really just overwhelming having to go through your closet AGAIN. I don't keep the too big stuff so there's a constant parade of clothing in and out of my closet. It just gets old after a while. LOL I know... just wait though.

I understand! That's a lot of sizes to have to go through so quickly.  I work from home at the moment so I won't have to worry about getting all new work clothes for every size that I go through, thank goodness!  I actually just cleaned out my closet and I have sizes 28 to 16 all in there right now.  I think I'll be able to find something to wear when I start going down quickly.... I was always optimistic about getting back into my old clothes. LOL

My mom has recently lost a lot of weight and she has been buying clothes from Goodwill and consignment shops while she is in the transition sizes.  It's hard to find clothes in my size at those stores but she seems to be having a lot of luck buying clothes in "normal" sizes like 14, 12 and 10 there.  Depending on the area of the stores she goes to, she can find name brand clothes there like Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, etc.

Good luck clothes shopping! ;-)

Yup, I work at home too, so I just kept a few good outfits for when I had business functions. The rest are jeans/tshirts/whatever.

I had friends that lost weight too so that helped with the budget, but yeah, I'm buying my own now. My OCD goes off the charts at Goodwill and places like that. I'm trying to get better with the idea though! LOL! I usually just buy off the super sale rack at whatever store at this point.

My biggest loss was my shoes. I lost 2 shoe sizes. I had some REALLY (like $400) expensive shoes :(

Oh, the new clothes were tons of fun for me at first.  Now however, I'm avoiding buying clothes because I'm sick of spending money.  Even at second hand shops.  I'm living in my slightly baggy jeans I got two months ago and t shirts.  I have a few outfits that fit perfectly right now but will be worn until they fall the hell off.  I'm currently refusing to buy anything else until at least mid january.  Well the exception is underwear.  I had them fall down under my pants one time and we will not be doing that again.

It took SO LONG for me to change sizes at first and now it seems to be going uber fast. Or maybe I'm just growing sick of it. But yeah, I'm usually down 2 sizes before I bother shopping at this point. My husband took away one of my pairs of pants and has forbid me to wear them again.

YES on the underwear. That was my one rule. I started in size 13 undies and now am in 7, I ALWAYS have good fitting underwear. I HATE baggy drawers.
