It's amazing to me that my life has changed so much. When I started this process I thought that it would be mainly my food habits that would change.

But I have found new habits and activities that I am now loving, like running!!! At 338 lbs there would have been no way for anyone to convince me that I would actually like to run, go rollar skating, and skip the office donuts for a protein drink (which I did the otherday).

Well Im off to take my ****er puppy that's full of energy for a lil run!

What are you doing now that you weren't able to or like doing then?

I still don't run because I would trip over myself.  Yes, I am that clumsy but I have taken little leaps & bounds of a wanna be run if say, I need to cross the street in a jif.  Works for me!!

I love taking stairs now which there was no way in hell I could have done before.  I can take several flights without feeling like I'm going to pass out.  I love that!!!

I would love to find a cool roller skating rink.  Someone needs to make that cool again and bring it.  I would love that too!!!  But then again, I broke both my wrists when I was young from roller skating.  Sh**, I need to just stay off the damn pavement period!

Congrats on your NSV!!!!! angry

I love weight training (most of the time) and doing cardio on the elliptical. Yes, I'm a gym rat, but it works for me. I never would have been comfortable at the gym weighing 270.

I also love being able to just be more active overall. A sprint across the playground with my students is easy breezy now, walking the dogs, housework, etc... it's all so much easier!

I like being able to starting doing the things I like again!  But really, I just replied so you could see a pix of my ****er!  LOL!  Mine is 7 years old and a rescue, and is as doofy as they come!  But he's a sweetheart!

I need to just stay off the damn pavement period!

This cracked me up- I can SO relate!  Still have nightmares of crashing and burning my big butt on the roller rink back in my youth!
