Has/does anyone use a sauna or steam room in conjunction with their program? Has it had any affect on your weight loss. I know they are good for dumping toxins wonder if it would improve our rate of loss. My gym has both so I am thinking about trying it. I just don't have a lot of extra time to sit around these days. Let me know your experiences.

I went to our local pool yesterday and was talking to a man there and told him I was cold (which is the usual these days lol) and was thinking of heading into the sauna for a few mins.  He said that it wasn't that good for you as it's a source of dehydration....never thought of it that way but it makes sense.  I guess if you're well hydrated, a little time in it wouldn't hurt...not sure though.  I didn't go in as I hadn't had much for fluid intake at that time lol.

The weight lost would mostly be water,in the form of sweat. Fat isn't burned off in that way.

Be extra careful, re passing out after from the water salt loss
