This girl was another of my inspirations. She had an incredible success and she fell off the radar. Here is a later post as to why. This one has to do with transfer addictions. She is still an amazing success story so for you Noobz go back and watch from the beginning of her journey.

Thanks for posting this Keith. I really haven'****ched any You Tube videos about VSG (other than actual surgeries when I was preop). I needed a little motivational burst today, and I am getting it from this guy (I decided to start with his first video and work my way through). I am not brave enough to do any videos, but I am glad others have!

If you change nothing, nothing will change.

Hey Keith, thanks.  The key is to be honest to yourself, family and caregivers. I wasn't.  My surgery date was 11/18/11.  By the end of February of 2012, I could no longer comfort my self with food, but I figured my stomach had healed enough that I could with alcohol, and the lowest volume way was vodka with a little crystal light -- low calorie :-)! It took off like a rocket and literally followed my comfort eating patterns, but I told no one for ten months.  I told no one until everyone figured it out, only this time I wasn't fat, I was a drunk.  I just got my 30-day chip at AA and am as proud of that as I am of my VSG.  Just be honest with yourself and seek help wherever you need it. People will always be willing to give it without judgment.

Will
