I have started a new cardio routine that is based on Rob Riches Cardio videos.

I was doing 60 minutes on a treadmill a couple times a week and it was getting tough, not because of the work, but because it was boring the crap out of me. I star****ching Rob Riches videos. He's got some good work outs and some good cooking shows too. So totally recommend watching his videos.

Basically my new cardio is 20 minutes on a stationary bike at my target heart rate, 20 minutes on the treadmill at a 4% incline and a 3 mph pace, then 20 minutes on an eliptical machine. On the eliptical machine when I get to my target heart rate I go as fast as I can for 20 seconds and then back to my normal pace until my heart rate comes back down my my target heart rate, then do it again. No rest between machines. This makes the 60 mins go by very quickly. Here are the videos that I based my new work out on: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL1306DFA05D31F3A6

I also do those three machines but just for 10 mins each then do strength training and crunches.  Takes about an hour of my day and I do it every second day...feels so much better than an hour on the treadmill...that hour goes by so much faster now that I've broken up the routine.

I do 60 mins on my "cardio" days and then every other day I do strength and 20 mins on the eliptical. So basically the same.

I just do the hour on the eliptical/nordic ski machine and watch TV while I do it. Passes quickly! And I usually want to stay on so as to keep watching the show!

I do that! But only in 10 minutes bursts. 10 on treadmill, 10 on bike, then ten on elliptical as hard as I can go on the elliptical! good post!!!! Change it up people! You body will not know what hit it! :)
