Wellesse Liquid Vitamins
Has anyone used Wellesse Liquid Vitamins? What did you think of the taste?
They have a multi, Calcium, and Iron..I've been struggling with the chewables and am not great with pills (yes I'm one of those adults that can't take pills without almost vomiting). They all seem to make me nauseous even when I take them with food.
Gross, but not as bad as any of the chewables I tried. The iron is nasty, plug your nose so you don't have to smell it. The calcium didn't bother me too much, but it's VERY thick if that is bothersome to you. I've never tried a liquid multi that doesn't taste like a flavored crushed up vitamin, but if you swig it and quickly have a sip of water to rinse your mouth, it's doable IMO. I take regular vitamins now. I buy the small new chapters, but I don't have any problems swallowing pills including those horse pills they give you for antibiotics.
That was my fear about liquid vitamins; they would taste pretty nasty. I just cannot take the iron supplement my doctor wanted me do so I stick with Celebrate's bariatric grape flavored iron chewable. It tastes like a grape pez & I love it!!!! It's the only bariatric vitamin I take. Trader Joe's has an adult chewable that I can tolerate & doesn't leave that vitamin taste in your mouth. And at $7.99 for a 3 month supply, it's awesome!!

I took the multi for 2 months because I couldn't handle chewables. It's VERY tart, think concentrated orange juice. It does have a bit of a grainy texture. Overall it's not bad. It was the only one I could tolerate. Now I'm finally on a chewable.

I have the B12 and the Calcium. B12 is no problem, the taste doesn't bother me at all. The calcium is disgusting. It is an orange cream flavor liquid which was absolutely stomach turning to me. I also tried the Calcet calcium but having an issue with those as well now so still on the hunt for a calcium that I am allowed to take!

I started out taking chewables, but had to swap to gummies. The dr prefers chewables, but I just cannot get them down. i finally decided gummies and getting in my vitamins was more important than no gummies. I am now able to take all my vitamins every day without missing a beat. I certainly couldn't say that with the chewables, and am doubtful I could have with liquid.

I did the Wellesse Calcium too!! The chewy bites were pretty gross and were literally made me sick.
But I could only stand going through 1 bottle or 2 of the Wellesse so I found these Calcium lozenges. The site also has crystals you add to drinks. The Cherry are real good and you just suck on them. https://www1.bariatricadvantage.com/catalog/list/2/Calcium
