Keith L.

Seems like you got  a handle on what to eat during the day? I Still drink my morning protein shake(2 scoops muscle milk powder with 8 ounces of water 310 calories) having a hard time finding low fat muscle milk powder. vitamins,

(  A premier Protein 11 ounce carton 160 calories) around 11 am or noon then a (cottage cheese with pineapple little cup 100 calories, ) other than that i get nervous to take in too many calories, is 570 too many in a day, what do you think...I am a little gun shy to eat too much stuck at 185 for a few days....sick so haven't got any exercise  maybe thats why??

You might be a bit gun shy but the calorie intake you are at is fine. I would watch the pineapple cups they are loaded with sugar (even the no sugar added variety) and you could be spending those calories on vegetables which are much lower in calories and sugars, plus the added nutritional benefit you get from them would be helpful.

If you are stuck at a weight drink more water. Shoot for 100oz. (64 from your doc is just a minimum). Make sure you are getting some form of exercise. Keep your protein up and make sure you are getting adequate sleep so your body has time for repair.

Scale went down 1lb this week...I'm glad it went down at all since mother nature's "gift" to women is still lingering and I have been eating like a beast!  Maybe not a beast, but def like a CARB MONSTER.

Keith thanks for posting. You must let us know hour you're holding up now.

Ms Shell I started reading the Maria Health Blog and was almost late for work today, LOL. She's got some great info on there and recipes too. I have frozen some blanched cabbage and so I'll check out that cabbage stroganoff recipe soon. I like your idea to use GY instead.

B: 20 oz. Herbal tea (missed opportunity for protein, noted).
S: Leftover grilled sirloin and tiny green beans
L: 1/2 package of apple slices, 2 laughing cow light cheese wedges and 1/2 slice of extra thick bacon
S: 20 oz. Isopure Apple Melon
D: Baked chicken leg quarters, broccoli, GY & Dijon mustard sauce
S: Protein Hot Chocolate with SF Peppermint Toriani

W: So this is what's stalling me. Honestly I am in a fight to get all my water in and protein.
V: 1 of 2
E: I took the stairs today and went for a 20 min walk.
