Ya, so I missed my two year post... with pics!
Hi there everybody!
Its been a while.Ive missed you all bunches!
Life has been CRAZY! Im in the process of a nasty divorce, which is a good thing,,,, not the nastiness but the end of a really crummy era. I am back in school full time... wait for it, wait for it... studying Human Nutrition with an emphasis in Dietetics. I would like to work clinically as a Registered Dietitian. This journey has really changed my life and I want to give back to the bariatric community.
My boyfriend and I just found a new bigger house for our awesome little Brady Bunch of 5 kids! The kids are all stoked and it looks like they will even get to stay in their schools with their buddies. I have really taken my life back, learned to see the world differently and am so thankful for the journey my sleeve has led me on.
I am my own person, I am in control of my destiny and I am beyond happy. Mike, the kids and I are taking on the world together. We spend our time at baseball games, at the beach, in the city and running around all over the place. I love the energy that I have now and know that the sleeve is the best thing that has ever happened to me! If youre on the fence and you dont know if this is right for you.... poke around these boards, talk to us vets and youll see the risks, small as they may be are worth the many benefits awaiting you on the other side of the operating table.
Love you my lil friends...
Jen
